UBC Centre for High-Throughput Phenogenomics Fund

UBC’s Centre for High-Throughput Phenogenomics (CHTP) is a full-service facility for high-resolution imaging of biological and inorganic samples. It is home to a comprehensive suite of imaging technologies, and a team of expert imaging scientists. Imaging technologies include mass spectrometry, X-ray micro-CT imaging, light microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. Expertise includes imaging and image processing, analysis, consultation, and training. The Centre welcomes collaborative, interdisciplinary research projects from users across universities, research organizations and corporations.

About This Project

A cutting-edge core imaging facility provides opportunities for a broad spectrum of researchers who are trying to solve some of the most perplexing problems facing the world today in the areas of clean energy, the environment, earth sciences, zoology, medical and dental health, and pharmaceutical sciences. Investigators across many disciplines use the Centre to gain deeper insight of their scientific samples through scientific imaging and data analysis.

Donations made to the fund will be used to:
• Maintain low user fees for researchers
• Maintain equipment at the highest level
• Maintain in-house expertise

Your gifts enable the CHTP to continue supporting the scientific objectives of academic, government and corporate researchers to the benefit of society in British Columbia, Canada, and beyond. To fund its operations, the CHTP relies on both user fees paid by researchers and donations. No other sources are available to fund operations.

Note: You will receive an official tax receipt from The University of British Columbia (charitable business #10816 1779 RR0001).
