Audain Art Centre at UBC: A New Era for the Visual Arts

Audain Art Centre
Audain Art Centre

Opened in Fall 2013, the Audain Art Centre brings together studios and flexible work spaces for UBC art students. As part of a mixed-use student housing development with academic space at its core, this new facility engages the community in learning opportunities, studio visits and special gallery events.

Thanks to a lead gift from alumnus Michael Audain (BA’62, BSW’63, MSW’65), we have achieved 85% of our fundraising goal. With your help, we can create a dynamic, inspiring and technically advanced learning environment for students.

Join us to transform the way visual art is taught and experienced.

“No one makes art in a vacuum. These new spaces will allow students to collaborate, share ideas and discover creative ways to enrich their art.”

Evan Lee (BFA’97, MFA’00)
