In recognition of the 40th reunion of the UBC Law Class of ‘75, the organizing committee invites all classmates to contribute to the Allard School of Law Student Emergency Award. This award has been established to assist law students who are faced with an unexpected financial challenge of a serious nature which impacts their well-being and/or their ability to continue in the program. Applications for this award are considered once a student has demonstrated that all other possible sources of support have been explored. This award is a critical safety net for students who might otherwise be forced to give up their legal studies.
As alumni celebrating 40 years since graduation, it is a wonderful opportunity to consider the support that you and/or your friends and classmates received as students. By contributing to this award, you can help to ensure that legal education remains accessible to all those with an interest in and aptitude for law, regardless of their financial situation. Whether or not you will be attending the reunion, we encourage you to celebrate this shared professional and personal landmark by making a gift.
