Educating the minds and hearts of children prepares them to become responsible local and global citizens. Our faculty members share in this role of cultivating understanding and knowledge in their students. They create inclusive learning environments for prospective educators and practitioners, which encourages mindful engagement and a deeper inquiry into teaching and learning. Our undergraduate students engage in immersive research, community service-learning, and practicum placements, including in international settings. Our communities, province, and country benefit from innovative educators who guide our learners of all ages, to become caring individuals and responsible global citizens.
